The Department of Sociology and Anthropology has amicably split into two independent departments.  The Department of Sociology remains on the 4th floor of the Fretwell Building.  The Department of Anthropology is now located at 225 Barnard.  The departmental phone number for Anthropology is now 704-687-3203.  Dr. Janet Levy is the department’s chair (704-687-4282), and Ms. Dodie Hart is the department’s administrative assistant.  For the present, you can still find information about the Anthropology Program by clicking on Anthropology in the left-hand column.
